DON'T EXPECT HELP FROM DISCOVERY! I have been a Discovery member for probably 10years. Last year July I took my 2 kids to the emergency room in the middle of the night. A month later I got a bill from the hospital for a portion not paid. I phoned Discovery and to this day do not know exactly why they did not want to pay. I have been phoning and explaining my query for almost a year. I have been told to phone the hospital because the code was wrong. I phoned the hospital like an idiot asking for codes to be changed that I have no knowledge of at all. I have been asking for assistance now for a year and yesterday I finally found a person willing to look at my doc's and interested in helping me at discovery in the hope of recovering the money I had to pay at the end of the day because the hospital handed me over for non payment. I was asked to send documents as proof just to discover that their emails don't work. I have had 2 people telling me today to just redo everything tomorrow - IT HAS BEEN A YEAR FOR GOODNESS SAKE! I am the client and I have been doing my medical aids job by phoning hospitals and requesting things I have no idea what its for or WHY! And I cannot seem to get one person to assist me in getting my money back! I am not responcible for your system failure - so why am I being punished!
