Don't believe what discovery med aid says

A big disappoint by Discovery, I can no longer believe what they say. I have the smart classic option, ***, . On the Smart series catalogue on pg 10 it states 'Emergencies are covered in full.' IT then goes on to say 'An emergency does not necessarily require a hospital admission.'

On 29.6 19 my daughter, Alison, was involved in a bad car accident, a car skipped a stop street in Kempton Park and smashed just in front of her car's driver's door. She hit her head on the side panel. When I got there she was confused, blurred vision and saw neck.To me this was an emergency because I did not know the extent of he injuries. (years ago my dad was involved in a motorbike accident, he hit his head on the ground, but still went to work, he later had to be hospitalized due to tremendous head aches. On investigation it has found that a vein was bleeding to his brain) So we called the ambulance which took my daughter to hospital. Upon arrival at hospital it was not seen as an emergency as I had to pay R1000 for the casualty doctors. After tests/treatment my daughter was sent home from casualty. I have also received bills from the hospital and the X ray dept. I am sure other bills are still coming. Why do I have to pay for an emergency if pg 10 of the smart series catalogue says that 'emergencies are covered in full?' Is involvement in a vehicle accident not an emergency.
