Dont ask them for help

When asked for help on the deductible for out of network hospital on a shoulder surgery that I need to have done they said it can only be waivered in an emergency and not on a elected procedure. The fact that I am in constant pain, have little to no use with my shoulder has no bearing on their decision. The network hospital is 2.5 hours away from where I stay also means nothing to them. I would not trust discovery to have your best interest at heart, they just want you to pay their fees and be on with it.
