Don't have no idea of problems
My child had a near drowning accident in 2002, which left her totally disabled and lots of care we decided to take care of her at home which Discovery assisted us at the time and put as a exgratia patient which we were very thankful for as she had a tracky in order to breathe and a mickey tube to eat in 2008 they cancelled all there help and she was considered as a normal patient which was unfair as she needed specific things to survive but because we are just a number we couldn't do anything, our Dr recently told us that we had to fight as we are clients of there's that pay over R8000 a month and they must assist us I recently was advised to book my daughter into hospital for the day in order to have a mickey tube change and measure if it was ok as she has had the same size for the last 12 years so needed to check if all ok which is supposed to be changed everything 4 months and discovery refuses to pay they only allow for 2 a year which is not acceptable I have recently found out that there could be a problem with it as she gets inflammation around her stomach and that the mickey could be the problem I am totally frustrated as they keep on giving excuses to help and this is long
