Dominant Medical aid a rip-off

<p>I moved to the UK October 2015, continued with my South African Discovery medical aid even though I could not claim any benefits in the UK – THIS was MY choice. A year later I joined Discovery in the UK, tried to cancel my South African medical aid and was told I need to give a month’s notice. I understand the policy and rules, but in this case it is ******* – I am paying a hefty premium in the UK and you still take my last month’s South African medical premium – so in effect I am paying twice. Great service Discovery – so unprofessional.</p>
