Does not pay for procedures that should be covered
IN January I injured myself requiring reconstructive surgery to my hand, to date Discovery has not covered this procedure in full as per their legal requirement with regard to PMB's.

Many appeals later they still hold on to the same reason that the bill was submitted 11 days after the procedure happened instead of before the procedure and because of this they do not regard it as an emergency and hence should not be covered.

In what universe does a bill for an emergency that happens on a Saturday evening appear before the accident happens??
