Does Discovery Really promote Healthy Living??

<p>My parents have been on the best medical plan Discovery has to offer for a long time. A couple of years ago my mother was diagnosed with Rhumhoid Arthritis. She changed her diet completely to organic. For the past 3.5 years she has been medication free due to the fact that she is eating healthy. She hasn't claimed one cent from Discovery for RA. About a month ago, the neurologist said she had a herniating disc, pressing against the spinal chord. This causes a lot of pain for my mother. Discovery doesn't want to approve or authorize the prosthetic procedure that was suggested by the Neurological Surgeon. Discovery claims that it is due to the RA. HOW CAN DISCOVERY PROMOTE HEALTHY LIVING AND REJECT an application for a procedure and give the reason as RA when my mother has been living meds free for 3 years? Isn't the organic lifestyle she is living the best healthy living? AND STILL DISCOVERY DOESN'T WANT TO COVER THE PROCEDURE? This is contrading and so incredibly disappointing!!!!!!</p>
