Dodging to pay the claim by always coming up with alibis

<p>Good day Sir/Madame !</p> <p>I'm a discovery member since 2015 with no claim whatsoever, unfortunately I passed out at work on Thursday 29 June 207 and I was taken to the emergency room, and the doctor suggested that I should be admitted because the condition seem very critic. 7 hours later I was transferred from Cartenhof Hospital to Clinton Clinic due to the reason that Carstenhof is not part of their network hospital. I kept on losing my conscious, feeling dizzy and having this headache, the doctor said that I definitely need to go for a scan, at my greatest surprise I was told that my medical aid had declined my claim there's nothing they can do. I'm still in hospital as I'm writing this letter, I contracted Discovery to get some clarifications they told me that the claim was not uploaded properly, there was no doctor's practice number, when I called them again in the evening they said that it wasn't an emergency case, since it's not a post natal condition or I broke my leg and back. That's not what I was told when I took this membership and if they'll only pay when a person breaks his back or leg, now I'm here with a very severe headache, dizzy and I can't be treated or have a CT Scan whilst I have a medical aid scheme.</p> <p> </p> <p>Best Regards</p> <p>Olga</p>
