Do you think Discovery Medical Aid is the best think again!

I recently went to a doctor for a minor emergency surgery, then a receptionist called Discovery medical Aid center for available funds as a they normally do so, to my surprise they said I have R.0 00. While on my app it shows that I have R.32 000 available, i even called Discovery consultants myself to verify about the funds to have more understanding, all was positive. I end up paying cash for my minor surgery, I request all the documents and receipts to claim my money back, they took me from pillar to post even now I am still struggling. I wonder why are we saying Discovery is a best medical aid? ***
