Do not fall ill when out of SA!

<p>I fell ill on an international business trip and submitted a very detailed report from the doctor who treated me. <br />The whole visit to the hospital cost around R14,000.<br />I have submitted the claim and was requested to prove that I was in that country at that time. <br />I submitted copies of my passport and electronic airline ticket. <br />So, the fact that I was treated in a hospital in another country and that I submitted airline tickets is not enough proof that it was me who received treatment and makes the claim basically the most challenging thing ever. <br />Be careful when falling ill in another country - clearly Discovery will make every excuse in the book but pay your very valid claim.</p>
