Disovery does not pay for FEMALE medical emergencies!

I had excruciating abdominal pain on 27th August and my family rushed me to the hospital (Netcare Unitas). Upon arrival, my vitals were taken and it was noted that my BP and temperature were quite high, I also had to give a urinal sample and the nurse that was assisting me also noted that I had fluid (discharge-like) coming from my virgina. I was provided with a drip for the pain and sent to radiology in order for a CT scan to be done so that the pain source could be determined. The urine test results came back and I was informed that I have an infection (a UTI of some sort), the pain was still unbearable, I was given more meds and it got better. I was later discharged in the evening and was told to come back the next day, I got home and was still in so much pain but the meds helped ease that. I went back to the hospital the next morning and a sonar was done where they discovered that I had a ruptured complex cyst. I was then referred to the gynae. I made a call to Discovery to understand why the claim was not fully paid since it was an emergency and was informed that it is because the treating doctor might have used the wrong code which is not on the PMB list.

A PMB application was submitted to Discovery by the health provider in December 2023, I followed up and was told that there was outstanding paper work. I went through the paper work and nothing was outstanding. I resubmitted the PMB form with all the paper work in Jan, I followed up multiple times and have received no feedback from discovery.

The health providers have listed me with the credit bureus, this is affecting my life on a major scale. The service from discovery health is beyond horrible.
