Dishonest Discovery Health

I was with Discovery with my employer for 12 years and never had problems I resigned and stayed with Discovery for another 6 months in 2018 left to in October and rejoined them January and 2019this year.Thhey had a waiting period of 3 months which I waited out and I was paying Around R7500 each month during the waiting period.They are aware of my wife's asthmatic conditions as they have it in record. My wife went to the doctor as she had fly. Her chest was a bit tight because eof the flu so the doctor put her on nebulizer to clear the chest so that she can heal etc. The medical. aid refused to pay as they said she has a pre existing condition. And after a call with them they said my wife will not be able to go to the doctor for flu for a year as there is a waiting period. So. in essenceu wife can have breathing problems bronchitis etc and they will not pay because of this. People plead beware of these medical. aids especiall discovery as they are just Fter your premiums and don't care about you at all.
