DISGUSTING DISCOVERY CLAIMS DEPARTMENT

I am absolutely disgusted with Discovery. I called my Dr and booked for a Pap smear (1st time ever!) since it is covered by my medical aid. I was informed that ill have to pay cash & claim back from my medical aid. No problem, I paid but only to have my medical aid DECLINE MY CLAIM??? for what reason? For the fact that I was not aware that I need to get an auth number from them for a general Pap smear. My 1st time ever! So its okay for me to pay R3,500 EVERY SINGLE MONTH but when you need to pay me R2,000 back then you have excuses? how did this authorisation number affect you as a business in any way when that R2,000 affects my life. I want my claim paid out.
