Disgusted with this Poor and Nonsense service of a medical aid scheme.

in had a medical aid with discovery health which was cancelled by them for some reason in 2017, well i did not have a problem, then at some point i got contacted by a debt collection company that discovery has handed over to them because i owed an amount which they paid my doctors. i called discovery asking for a settlement letter so i can settle the amount and was advised that i should speak to settlement solutions,i did and was transferred to a company called itc and i asked them for a settlement letter, i was told that they do not issue settlement letters they can only send me a mail. i explained that what i needed is a settlement letter to send to a financial institute that will be settling my debt on my behalf, but they refused still. they referred me back to discovery,then i called discovery again (third time) asked for a settlement letter and was again transferred to another department where i was asked for my ID number, i gave it, then was told there is no listed account under my ID number. the whole frustration of all the run around, my phone bill also and the headache only to be told no account exist under my ID. discovery has a poor service, been poor since they refused to pay for my breast operation on with critical medical conditions. until today, they are still treating people like dogs.
