Disgusted

I was recently admitted into mediclinic hospital for a viral infection, which resulted in bells palsy. I had previously been written up by Hippo Advisory Services, who as I recall did not ask me questions regarding underlying conditions. I asked discovery to provide the recording, however they presented the report, and promptly cancelled my policy. now my complaint is that what I had mentioned to the doctor was in fact not recorded properly. bearing in mind the fact that I was on heavy doses of predisone and heavy pain medication. This resulted in my sugar levels to be excessively high. Subsequently discovery cancelled my policy, saying that I had underlying conditions, and I did not mention this to the consultant, and I am now in debt of approximately R50 000, of which being a single parent I will be red listed and so on and so forth. I think this is grossly unfair, and should have been fairly considered, prior to the rude finalisation that was reached in my matter. I believe that due consideration should have been given and an investigation should be conducted on the telephonic recording and a final decision must be reached in this matter.
