Disgusted and utterly disappointed!!!!!!!!!!

I had a fasting + thyroid blood tests performed at Lancet Lenmed Private hospital on the 16th January 2019. Discovery paid for the blood test less the fasting blood test citing "no cover/benefits" relating to insulin. For the record, I didn't get insulin from Lancet Lab as per the explanation from your consultant, it was a fasting test to check the insulin levels. I've been trying unsuccessfully to try and get this resolved with Discovery and Lancet to get this matter resolved w.r.t correct codes to be used but it's like talking to a brick wall.

I will pay this stupid shortfall of R170.00 to Lancet Lab as I now got debt collectors phoning me. Furthermore, I need to perform the same test in about 2 weeks time. Do I start paying cash for these tests since there's no cover and/or benefits??

This whole episode has left a bitter taste in my mouth. I expect the courtesy of a telephone call from your offices and the necessary investigations from qualified personnel.
