Disgusted

Upon starting a job at a new company they required me to switch my medical aid to discovery. Only to find out I will be put on a 3month waiting period. How ridiculous when the whole world is in the midst of a pandemic and they expect new members to go 3months without benefits. I could die of covid at any time during those 3months while they take my money each month n dont pay any of medical expenses. I called Bonitas, Fedhealth and Camaf and they all told me there will be no waiting for me when I join as I have been on a medical aid over the last 90days. Im very disgusted that during these times Discovery is still more concerned about making money then saving lives. I have decided to stay witn my current medical aid and rather lose my employers medical aid contribution, my life is worth far more
