DISGRACEFUL TREATMENT TO EX-MEMBER WITH CANCER

Absolutely disgusting antics by a medical aid that is supposed to care about patients health. In the five and a half years I was with them, I was on one of the highest packages where they received approx R5k per month. During that time, I never went to hospital or used any of the extensive benefits; only savings for GP and day-to-day. When I left Discovery, they app**** a clawback of R3000 odd, and handed me over. Despite paying monthly for nearly two years, the amount has doubled. I was recently diagnosed with Stage 3 cancer and am not working, and have advised them I cannot pay this and my focus on my chemo and radiation. Their representatives response "We hope this finds you well. We look forward to your next payment". Next response " Thank you for the email. Please note that if you not going to pay anything on your account there will be accumulating interest therefore to avoid that you must continue paying your account."

IF THIS ▲ IS HOW DISCOVERY TREAT PEOPLE WITH CANCER, WOULD YOU REALLY TRUST THEM AS YOUR MEDICAL AID? They are a disgrace!!!
