************** typical Discovery unprofessionalism

As a Discovery member who is dependable on ARV's I am constantly being discriminated against. I live in a small town, travel a lot for work with uneven rosters and sometimes find out within hours that I have to travel. <br> <br> I used to get my ARV's from my local pharmacy and Discovery covered it 100%. After a while I had to start paying a 10% dispensing fee which later grew to 20%. Contacting Discovery I find out that a consultant were to inform me that I have to make use of their CDU or get my medication at a Dischem. If not then I have pay a 20% dispensing fee. Today (again with no warning from Discovery) I had to pay 40% dispensing fee and Vitamins are no longer covered under their MSA? Working in the health care sector on human rights this counts as a human rights violation as it constitutes as a system which discriminates against PLWHIV.<br> <br> My next stop is the media. I do not live anywhere close to a Dischem nor do I have a life routine which allows me to sit and wait for a courier to drop of medication at my house. Discovery not being willing to manage individual health cases shows inadequacy and therefore only public mass action against Discovery will suffice.
