************** against pregnant woman!

Dear Discovery. This past weekend we went to Dischem for our annual test (HIV, Sugar, and so on) in order for us to move up to Silver Status. We were told not to eat anything from 6am as our appointment was at 10am and eating will affect our results.

Firstly, my wife was 37 weeks pregnant at the time and telling a pregnant woman not to eat fro 4 hours is not good advice. But the worst was that she was flagged as being pregnant when we did the tests. However, the system does not make any adjustments or take into account that she will have a bigger waist circumference at 37 weeks? So according to the system, she is overweight because of this? Are you kidding me? This is unbelievable!! How can the system not change its algorithm for a pregnant woman? Secondly, because she could not eat and she is pregnant her blood sugar was very low, again, affecting her score? Surely your system must take all of this into account when you review a pregnant woman? So obviously our combined score was not what it could be and thus we did not earn the point we should have and thus we are still far off the silver status! Would love to know what you will be doing about this.... Please advise!
