Discrimation!

I was contacted by an agent of Discovery who told me "if we help you, where do we draw the line" ? I am not entirely sure what kind of a comment that is when one has a medical condition. His point of argument was blind people and when I countered with , they cannot simply insert a device into their eyes to fix or assist their sight, I was told that there are devices for blind people. I have done some research and a) I was not born deaf this occurred due to a condition called SSHL and b) mobility devices for the blind are available and although I could not find exact pricing, I would very much doubt that it would be in the region of R 240 000 put aside for cochlea implants. I was then advised that this is different because it is a "in hospital benefit" so I ask you, does the R 240 000 (cash) know where it is coming from or is the merely an allocated budget. I tell you what the difference is, perhaps only 10% would opt for this kind of treatment whilst, perhaps 60% would opt for hearing aids. So not only do they discriminate against client's that are hard of hearing , they now also discriminate against people who have lost their sight due to an illness. #shocking!
