Discovery you add to my problems

If you thinking of joining Discovery, think twice. I would never recommend them. I recently had a mammogram done and require a vacuum biopsy and what you never expect to hear is; this cannot be approved. The irony is that they will cover me going to hospital and going into surgery but a day procedure cannot be covered. so they want to pay for me to sleep in hospital be it a day or two; but not a day procedure. I called them spoke to 2 of their consultants who were absolutely helpful and saw the need for me to have the procedure done , but not there so called doctor panels. Worst service ever; now i have to look at going to a state hospital, God only knows how long they will take to help me whilst I stress about my health. What is the purpose of medical aid when a required; significant procedure for a woman cannot be done. Im so disgusted with them and will never ever recommend them. I rather pay for a hospital plan and save my money for a "NOT COVERED" procedure.
