Discovery yet to discover better administration

Health Application was submitted 1 February 2018, for activation 1 April 2018. ONLY on 3 April 2018 AFTER I enquired about my application, was there work done on my application. The excuse was that the broker was a problem, BUT this was sorted out on 14 MARCH 2018 already. They advised my HR department I will be loaded with NO WAITING Periods (on the 14th of March 2018), now they come with OTHER stories like I did not join within three months when I was appointed by my company. I was NOT informed by my organization that it was a compulsory scheme, I was advised that I could join "any medical aid" of choice. Had I known that DIscovery was a compulsory scheme for my organization, I would have joined them, AS I HAVE WORKED IN HR before! and knows what it means, no waiting period and no penalties. I RESIGNED my previous medical aid to JOIN DISCOVERY because I was under the IMPRESSION that Discovery is a better-administrated fund, but obviously, my impression was incorrect.
