Discovery Vitality - Terrible Service, lack of responsibility & accountability.

went to Total Sports to buy the Gel Kayano 31 running takies R3899.95, i then activate the 25% active gear reward. At the till, the teller scans the code, i get a R0.50 discount. I ask the teller to cancel the sale and we restart it again, i now get R25 discount instead of R974.98 (R3899.95*25%). The teller indicates to me that this is a common problem for a majority of customers from Discovery Vitality. They advise me to make the purchase & call discovery and make them aware of the concern, so i do that on 1 July 2024. I call Discovery Vitality on 1 July 2024 and raise the concern, they call me back & indicate that the item is not part of the qualifying products, i indicate to them that it is, the store (Total Sports) confirmed that. 2 days later they call me and say the discount (R25) was correctly app**** meaning that, according to Discovery Vitality 25% of R3899.95 is R25 and not R974.98. I dispute that, and i also indicate to them that at Sportsmans Warehouse there is a "Vitality" sign on the running shoes, hence they are a qualifying product. I further go to a different Total Sports and take the same running shoes and scan them, use the vitality active gear benefit (25% discount) and it correctly reflects a correct discount of R974.98, i inform Discovery Vitality, they say they will get back to me. Yesterday i get a e-mail from Discovery Vitality further indicating that the product (running shoes) are not a qualifying product, yet the teller confirmed that it is, but Discovery Vitality refuses to solve the problem. Pathetic Service from Discovery Vitality who refuse to take responsibility & accountability.
