Discovery Vitality *****

I have been a client of Discovery for almost 10 years now. I found out a while ago that Discovery registered me for their Vitality product about 6 years ago without my knowledge or consent...in essence de*****ing me of R14277 in total. When I laid a complaint, they had an "investigation" and came back to me (actually they didn't respond, I had to keep phoning them to get feedback) saying that they realize it was their error, but that they were not going to refund me the money.

A quick search on the internet revealed that this was actually a frequent occurrence, I even found an article in which one of their spokespersons bragged about the fact that they make a lot of money out of people paying for Vitality, but not using their benefits. https://www.businessinsider.co.za/discovery-vitality-profits-jump-as-partner-cough-up-2018-11

Absolutely shameless ********* hiding inside their corporate stronghold. I'm in the process of switching to another medical aid provider.
