Discovery Vitality debited me after I had cancelled my vitality

Good day, I called Discovery vitality and requested them to cancel my vitality days before April Month end. They said they just cancelled it but on the 1st of May, my account was debited with the vitality money. How CAN YOU DO THAT when i specifically gave my reasons that i can nolonger afford it, I lost a lot during this Covid 19.
