Discovery up to their usual trickery again

So discovery is at it again... I have a condition, the same condition i have had for the past three years. so this is no surprise to discovery. but listen to this.

3 years ago, i got very ill, and was admitted to hospital for numerous tests and observation. One of the top hematologists in the country took over my case and found the issue.

Discovery left me with a bill at the hospital that they refused to pay of nearly 60k in cash. this is only the start of their trickery.

My doc worked out a treatment plan, subimitted that with my results to discovery for pre-authorization for a 12 month period.,. discovery came back and said they would authorize 3 moths of treatment and then i would have to redo these tests again (which i have to pay for out of my pocket) and then they will review it and authorize it.

So my doc diagnoses me with a life long illness, he asks discovery to authorize 12 months at a time (because this is not going to go away, we are just treating it) Discovery then says nope, they will AUTH for 3 months (because i might heal by magic within 3 months) and i need to pay for the test every three months.

Needless to say, i had no choice but to do this stupid process. and continued to do this for 3 years now. Last month, i did the exact same tests as before, my doctor literally begs them to authorize me for 12 months to save time and effort and money! they come back this time and say they need more tests, this is after i paid cash for tests less than a month ago.

To me this feels like discovery wants to make me jump through as many hoops as humanly possible before thye need to fork out money for my treatment. they are also trying to get me to spend as much of my own money as possible on needless tests. i think they are hoping it will put me off from asking for my treatment auth.

Dear discovery, this is not going away, and if not treated it will be fatal. i am not going to roll over and just take this nonsense. and if i dont hear from you guys today im going onto social media as well to share this. enough is enough, and i have had enough
