Discovery the joke

Discovery health is a complete joke. Don’t expect them to help you at all. Every time you call you get a different response. I called to log a complaint with a manager. The manager did not even have the decency to call me back herself. On the 2nd of April 2019, I had a horse riding accident. I was rushed to the hospital due to a leg injury and a potential concussion. I was also in shock at the time. I had a fractured fibula and a fractured foot as well as a full thickness tears in the ligaments in my ankle. I spent 10 weeks in a moon boot. I was in crunchers, unable to put any weight on the leg for 6 weeks. Not able to diver for 8 weeks. The response from discovery was that my injury was not severe enough to warrant a hospital visit. That they would have covered me if I had gone to one of their GPS first as it is covered under my sports injury cover. Due to this technically they will not pay! They told me that my surgeon would have to change the code that he used when treating me, I asked. The doctor informed me that discovery are complete tyrants. That if he did change this, even if it was the truth, they would audit him and likely never pay him again.
