Discovery Syndrome
<p>Stay away stay clear. Go to another open scheme medical aid. When you get a sms from the ITC stating you owe money. Being able to pay it in full if you knew about it. Then contacting Discovery and hearing they phone you and left a voicemail (voicemail never received - dont believe them... wait for it) and a message... (dont think so)... stating they mailed you 3 times a letter. I could almost have believed it is the postal service... but 3 times dont think so.</p> <p> </p> <p>So I was on a closed scheme managed by Discovery, then I moved over to Discovery (notice still discovery) then i moved jobs and they could not transfer a open scheme into my personal capacity. (ok kewl) So I appp**** for the medical aid scheme, I get these lekker love letters to fill in - no problem. O before I forget. Based on the phone conversation the scheme would only be effective from the start date if they receive these love letters... So i did my duty and sent it all off to them... The start date came and gone and the debit order never went off. --- Long story short. I MONTH later they phone me and I took the phone call that they INDEED phone me and they said there is additional letters I must fill in about info. Now what is the ticker is Since the closed scheme they had all the information all the way through so why after a MONTH of probably falling of a chair waking up and asking for docs... So the Discovery Syndrome aint pretty. Could have taken the latter of these issues. but both? *********** and *****.</p>

I am just awaiting the Final investigation answer as my conclusion is still the same, I did not receive the letters or communication, and as per our telephonic conversation regarding a previous call from discovery i clearly rember they spoke about the previous previous employer. So either that consultant did not know what they doing and got confused and it all ended up here and now. And I also want to know why it took a month for Discovery to think of requiring more doc's and even though I was al along going from the close scheme to the open scheme and then i tried personal capacity and still had no luck.

Just to tell everyone. So i got the call from the agent. Stating they did speak to me somewhere last year about money outstanding... Ok I told the agent nope that was for the previous company and the close medical scheme that person talked about. So they were going to investigate and hell i got a mail today that they have the recording and that it was about the thing I SAID and I can go in and listen to it? Why would I as I said it was for the close scheme amount. So the call was on the 29 about that money that my employer took of and WAS paid over. And on the 31 I got a letter. As far as I can and anyone can think is as I still not sure for what that letter was was that it was for the First one that they DID indeed RECEIVE the money... Nowhere else did I get a letter STATING the money for the open Scheme nor was it even MENTIONED in that call????... Also they send instructions for delisting and sent me the letter? there is a difference in wording of "update status" at Transunion ITC and "de-listing" at Transunion ITC. I am still awaiting my letter that you de-listed me.
