Discovery *****ing from and bullying retrenched people

I have recently been retrenched, and thus have had to cancel a number of expenses, medical aid included unfortunately. I happen to be with Discovery. I have just received an email stating that I owe them R2250,00. This is for Membership withdrawal. Seriously? This can't be right. I didn't cancel by choice. This is robbing from me, when I don't have the means. How can Discovery do this?!?
