Discovery severe illness benefit claim is a ****

Discovery has a severe illness benefit where u can claim if you are being impacted financially due to a severe illness. In 2019 i had my appendix removed and after being discharged i was rushed back to hospital a few hours later into icu due to being diagnosed with pulmonary embolism. Which is blood clots in your lungs and admittedinto icu. I was put on wafarin blood thinners for 6 months and after that i was told i must stop the treatment. A month later i was diagnosed with reocurring blood clots and then suffered a minor stroke due to the clots in 2020. I was then advised i will be on blood thinners for life. Every few weeks i have to go for blood test for IRN so that the blood thinners can be adjusted accordingly its supposed to be at a range of 2.0 to 3.0. My INR has been on a 1.1 which is not in theraputic range for the past 2 years which seems as if im not on treatement at all.due to my health taking a huge knock i was then diagnosed with depression and generalised anxiety. I got covid twice with blood clots. In 2022 april i was rushed to hospital again due to shortness of breathe and severe chest pain and was disgnosed with sick sinus syndrome due to the bloos clots again which is considered a heart disease. In june 2022 i was rushed back to hospital and admitted into icu due to having another minor stroke. My whole left sode face is drooped. Left side body has paralysis and is numb. I had to do facial therapy and speech therapy. I have been admitted into hospital 8 times in the last 2 and half years. I was advised to claim from the severe illness benefit as my life has been impacted financially as my sick leave was depleted in the first year due to being hospitalised so many times and now everytime im off in hospital im on unpaid sick leave. I have submitted all required documents. 56 doctors letters blood test. INR RESULTS confirmation of admission into hospital doctors notes and the claim was rejected. I am at futher risk or heart attack and more strokes due to my blood clots and medication that has not improved my conditon. Why do i have a benefit that states it will pay out if you being impacted due to an illness just to be rejected. Do i have to be half brain dead or paralised before you even consider the claim.
