Discovery Service Disgusting

The experience over the pass year is **********. I am surprised that the board overseeing medical aids has not looked into them. The latest being my sick child living at residency has being to a Dr on Monday and is still awaiting meds. He was sent to collect 24hrs after visiting Dr at a clicks in Killarney to be told by the pharmacist that discovery is a hospital plan that deliberately ensures medication is not available. Further to this he is still waiting for some assistance after numerous calls to discovery. My daughter and I experienced the same last month, with the pharmacy saying that they do not see any of item that Discovery says is on the list approved. I will not go further into the fact that last year discovery said they will pay for the labs for a pap smear but not for the Doctor or the material used. What are woman supposed to do? Administer the test themselves. As for the person's responsibility to call is to resolve the issue, they are rude and dismissive and yet we pay exorbitant fees.
