Discovery ridiculously high co-payments

I am absolutely horrified to learn that Discovery Health's co-payments have practically doubled since the last time I had the same procedure done 2 years ago. To apply a co-payment of R7600 for a procedure that doesn't even cost that much is ludicrous. What is the point of paying so much for private medical cover when the co-payments are so damn high.
