Discovery - Request for breast reduction declined

I find it unacceptable that for the amount of medical aid fees, plus the costs of seeing a GP, chiropractor AND plastic surgeon to get motivation letters - a request for breast reduction for medical reasons would still be declined. The standard explanation given for declining are - for lack of a better word - lame and you are robbing women of the chance of having a better life. Discovery is known for charging astronomical amounts for membership fees, yet are not willing to even consider paying for a surgery which is not cosmetic at all. I know for a fact that there are many women out there like myself who had to deal with the disappointment of being declined a breast reduction by Discovery, but unlike them I refuse to accept this. I am taking this further...to the Ombudsman, the Council for Medical Schemes, the media AND I will also be leaving this medical aid by the end of this year. This is not over.
