Discovery rejected my claim.

I am so angry and disgusted. I pay R1300 monthly roughly for medical Aid and hardly even use my medical aid but this is the thank you I get? I was in pain as this happened around 04:00 yesterday and I got into my car to go to Lesedi. The doctor said she will need to check my jaw first to see if I need to be admitted or not. She did X-rays and other procedures and they managed to locate my jaw successfully so there was no need to be admitted. So the message I got from your Consultant Tevin is thar type of X-ray is not covered. My jaw was displaced, I could not eat, talk or drink anything and the one time I need help from a hospital, my medical aid rejects. This was an emergency and I did not have time to see a GP to ask for a referral. I could not even call Discovery first because I couldn't talk. Where are my monthly premiums going if you reject a lousy claim for R1000? I am just the same as someone who goes to Baragwanth hospital as I still pay cash on top of my premium. My premium is for nothing. An X-ray is an X-ray, it doesn't matter where it is. If you cover certain parts of the body then what's the use of medical aid? Or should I be admitted in hospital in order to get assistance. The doctor took me to casual as she saw fit as she was still assessing whether I need to be admitted or not. So they fixed my jaw, I was not admitted. So now I must pay for being there just because Discovery does nor Cover X-ray of the jaw? I am not a doctor but that is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. I pay my premiums loyally every month and this is the thank you I get! I cancelled your car insurance because it was pathetic, I will cancel this medical aid and look for others if not resolved. Which means in future if I go to hospital, I must expect a huge rejected bill when I come out. Yoooooh, that is ridiculous for such a big company but the service is pathetic!!!
