Discovery refuses to remove my default listing

I was a member of Libcare, when I left the scheme I owed money which I paid until I thought it was paid up. I received a call from Ergometrix who informed me trhat the account was handed over to them. I immediately made the payment. I have just noted that there is a default listed against me by Discovery. I called Discovery and they informed that Libcare is now part of their company and referred me to Libercare. I called Libcare and they refered me to the debt collectors. The debt collectors are now referring me to Discovery, long story short I am being shunted around for a debt that I have settled.
