Discovery refused my admission to Flora hospital

Discovery health is a pathetic. I was seen to by a specialist at Flora hospital who then forwarded the documents to Discovery to get authorization for me to admitted due to recurring uti's and severe abdominal pain. You would not believe me if I told you that they declined my admission to the hospital based on lack of evidence of an illness. The lady at Discovery, namely Lesego did not pull any pathology report and previous proof of consultations with other doctors. I had to return back to the specialist who called Lesego and could not believe that this medical aid had been questioned by him. I am disgusted at the level of professionalism, let alone the fact that I had to run from pillar to post yesterday and had still not been assisted. The medication needed as stated by the specialist is one that needs to be administered by IV and my level would need to be observed. Lesego said that she was going to organize a nurse to come and give me the medication in a drip twice a day for 5 days. Can you belive this? I have been with Discovery for more that 20 years. This is not the end! I am going to take this further! Disgusted!
