Discovery playing GOD with our money!!!!

On 18.07.2019 I was booked by my Dr to have a lump removed at Netcare Greenacres hospital. It was supposed to be a day stay... Discovery had the nerve to decline my pre-authorization for theater as they deemed that the lump was too small and didn't meet the criteria for hospitalization fund to be used for this. If I went ahead i would have to pay for the anesthetist, theater fees as well as hospital costs!!! Now I would like to know why do we pay medical aid fees when these jokers can then turn around and say sorry your ailment doesn't qualify for hospitalization???? Clearly the specialist surgeon wouldn't suggest it if he didn't think it was serious enough for it to be done in theater???We are on one of the top plans and discovery is only to administer our medical aid yet they decide what is serious and not...Now Discovery listen to this i will not pay for medical procedures that a medical aid is supposed to cover!!! I will leave this lump on my hand and if it turns out to be a cancerous lump I WILL SUE YOU!!!
