Discovery once again putting profit over the patient!

So, on my plan Discovery give me additional GP visits, with a Discovery linked GP, when my savings plan is depleted. (Classic Saver) In order for you to pay for these, I must first go and see a DisChem / Clicks nursing sister who will refer me to a DisChem doctor on a TV screen who then will refer me to my own GP who is a Discovery linked GP. When questioned Discovery says it's to "make treatment more affordable and sustainable". Really? DisChem charges R350 for the 'consultation' with a genius of a clinic sister who manages to read oxygen saturation levels without a pulse oximeter or blood gasses. They then pay $$$$ for the DisChem GP who asks what is wrong with me and quite happily gives me a referral letter to my own GP who then also charges for his consultation. HOW ON EARTH IS THIS "AFFORDABLE OR SUSTAINABLE"? Also, all this during a time when people are being advised to stay home and social distance. I went to the DisChem near me who couldn't accommodate me, then to Clicks who had no clinic, then to another DisChem where I sat in a very long queue for an hour being exposed to who knows what and then to my own GP who has been my GP for more than 40 years. I mentioned to a friend in Australia (Saffer) who is an infectious diseases and ICU specialist what had happened and his first comment was "how is that legal"? Far too many people profiting and patients being **** to! In the medical environment we talk about "patient centricity". Absolutely nothing like that from Discovery or DisChem.
