Discovery not paying
Discovery were supposed to pay my in hospital expense
The doctor who came in hospital to see me on two occasions for literally 5minutes
Is saying I owe them R900
This was in April this year I took this to discovery and they didn’t address
Now months later the doctors rooms are saying discovery didn’t pay the full amount even though I have full hospital cover

Discovery did not address the original service request weeks ago
The doctors room are harassing me for payment for a in hospital claim
Discovery asks me to do thier job for them seeking documents from the hospital after I already informed them no reports were given to me whilst I was in the care of the hospital
They could easily obtain what they’re requesting but have the audacity to ask me to get this information
Even after they acknowledge they did not address this matter the first time I brought it up over a month ago
Absolutely not acceptable
It’s a non service
Why do we have discovery when they don’t do what we pay for

I paid the doctor the amount out of my own pocket
Discovery did nothing to help
In fact I had gap cover given by Discovery
The first 3 months free and even then discovery did not come to the party
Stay away from discovery they don’t help
They expected me to get reports that they could get themselves
They inconvenienced me to the point I just paid the doctor myself
