Discovery NOT Medical Aid

I pay R3 704/month on the Classic Smart plan for my son and I. When I need medical aid, the answer from Discovery is always' you're not covered!' Yesterday my son and I sustained dog bites when trying to separate our fighting dogs. We left home at 16:30 from Observatory to find medical help. Linksfield emergency said we're not covered. Morning side has a trauma unit and is on your preferred list. We had to swap drivers midway as we were both bitten on the right hand and arm. Morningside said the Trauma doctor is not contracted in. My trusted contact managed to find a GP who was open till 18:45 as apparently we are not covered for medical emergencies. We got to Dr Mbelu at Intercare, Morningside at 18:30 and he treated us. We were only covered for the consultation and had to pay for the tet**** injection, the dressings and I think the municipal bill. Today I had to pay R500 at dischem as not all the items on the script were covered by my amazing medical aid. My son is covid positive but he doesn't qualify for an oximeter on my amazing medical aid. He also cannot get his chronic meds on my amazing medical aid as his psychiatrist has to change his diagnosis to qualify for the meds he has been on for the last 8 years. My dentist can examine my teeth but cannot treat me on my amazing medical aid. Discovery you suck when it comes to medical service. There are so many don'ts and can'ts that I am too scared too even ask what are the do's and can's. I hate you for what you have put me through and can't wait to get rid of you
