Discovery non payment made me a debtor.

I am 85 and fell in my drive. Was taken to Life St George's who mended hole my head and discharged me.They did not send a bill. Now debt collectors are hounding me because Discovery has not paid my bill because don't run à savings account. I am on coastal core plan as a poor pensioner. I would paid if I had been sent a bill by St George's.
