Discovery Miscalculation led to financial chaos

I was required to pay a pro-rata amount for private reasons in February, towards my medical aid. The accounts at Discovery did not accurately forward the payment as pro-rata and thus they discounted it from my medical aid debit order for March. Realising what had happened, they submitted my debit order for April to be nearly double my quoted monthly fee. As I was not contacted and completely unaware of these issues, I had not provisioned for the amount to be in my account when the debit order took place. The Discovery debit order caused a domino effect and through all of my debit orders into disarray and my bank account into the negative. Subsequently FNB charged me overwhelming penalty fees, taking all of the money back out of my account once the defaulted payments had returned.

Now I've just received an email from Discovery saying they're suspending my medical aid - for their mistake.

Now they've gone even further and threatened to cancel my membership if I don't pay in 14 days - but it's because of them that I don't have any money left for the month. Not even for food.

My life has been turned into absolute chaos due to their error, and now this. This is chaos. This is a complete disaster and I cannot reach anyone to help me.
