Discovery Miles Issues on Takealot.com

Totally unimpressed with the issue regarding the discovery miles and takealot.com. I have tried to make a purchase using my miles which amounted to R630 (6300) miles. The miles went off and yet takealot.com says that they have not received it. Discovery indicates that there is a problem with their systems and thus the issue arose. I have reported the matter on the 26th October and still no reversal done. Totally unacceptable as I have now missed out on the sale items that I intended to use my miles on. So now I as the customer, find myself negatively impacted by Discovery's technical inefficiencies. I would like to understand how is Discovery going to make up for this in terms of the sale that I missed out on due to a fault that is not mine. A mere reversal of the miles is not going to cut it as I now have to spend more on something that I would have spent less on.
