Discovery medical service.

Discovery contacted me for my wife and I to have our annual medical which is covered under our chronic medication, the message stated this will be paid for by Discovery. We both went for the medicals in which the doctor took blood samples as part of the medical check. Discovery then paid the doctor plus part of my blood tests and a small portion of my wives blood tests, I then got a bill from Lancet labs for over R 2000,00 I took this up with Discovery and they refused to pay, so the way I see it is, we go for a medical at their request, have blood tests, that we have no control over what the tests are, and end up R 2000.00 out of pocket. Discovery argument is there is nothing in saving, but why was this not pointed out when they requested us to have the medicals and stated that they would be paid by them. I think we will be looking for a better medical aid.
