Discovery Medical aids let Doctors treat patients

Discovery Medical Aid should allow Doctors to treat patients with meds and not force Doctors to treat Discovery. Both my kids are on Ritalin which costs me a R1000 a month out of my savings as Discovery does not cover Ritalin at all and won't even think of covering it at all. We have sent in letters from doctors, sent my kids for extra tests and still get the middle finger from Discovery . I would like to ask them to explain why and dare them to investigate how many new customers they would get if they covered Ritalin. At this stage I don't have a choice in moving medical aids as I want to help my kids and give them a better future. I invite all Discovery members in the same boat to post their own comments and let's see if Discovery listens to their members in order to change and allow Ritalin onto their chronic formulary.
