Discovery Medical aid not paying for Hospital blood tests

My Daughter, Nabeela was admitted to the hospital for a dental procedure on the 26 July 2024. We obtained authorization and made a co-payment of R5300 for the hospital as requested. Discovery also paid only a portion of the Maxilo facial surgeon's account, but this was explained to us at the outset.

She is on the hospital plan. The medical aid refuses to pay for the blood tests done in hospital. We have contacted the medical aid and the staff resubmitted the claim and they still rejected it. The amount is R557.80.

I feel it is unfair as our understanding was that anything that is done in the hospital will be paid for by the medical aid.
