Discovery medical aid- Miscarriage

Discovery has to be the most useless medical aid wouldn’t recommend to anyone 0/10. I recently had a miscarriage and after I was discharged from the hospital I had to see my gynaecologist for a follow up appointment to check if there are no problems, I don’t need extra care and whether the miscarriage was complete. I called and spoke to a consultant in the morning and she advised that after a miscarriage they will pay as the maternity benefits were activated. When I got to my appointment I was informed that they will not pay as I had a miscarriage and there is no baby anymore. Tell me why pregnant women after delivery they are given free GP visits to check whether they are healing well and have postnatal visits, women that have miscarriaged are not looked after, just because there is no baby anymore we are left to wonder for ourselves.
