medical aid at discovery is a ****, so me and my wife decided to take medical aid with discovery, little did we know this will be the death of us, My wife went to a gynae for a consultation and they found out that she has fibroids, she then booked a procedure with the hospital, after a week of booking Discovery was still investigating , they consulted the doctor we normally go to at little falls , and they said what the Dr said is not enough, they then consulted the Gynae and he gave them the report, now they claim to say that we knew about this condition before we joined them, they only tell us once we paid from our own pocket thinking they will reimburse us, what a **** of a medical aid , we asked them for the records , to this day we still waiting. take their medical aid at your own risk, its a waste of time and energy, if we knew prior why didn't we pay from our own pocket?
