Discovery Medical Aid is *******!

I have accepted that they won’t cover my birth but I will not pay for all those doctors consultations because I called Discovery and they activated my maternity benefit. I asked them if I wouldn’t need to pay extra or admin fees or anything and the consultant said no, everything will be covered. The consultant was on loud speaker and I made the call in front of my parents. I wouldn’t have incurred those costs had I gotten a different response from the consultant, I would’ve gone to a public clinic or budgeted to pay a doctor privately but they said they would cover now they want to reverse everything? Not going to happen. Sad part is I have never stayed overnight at a hospital so I wasn’t aware of their tricks. All this is happening because I moved from my dad’s membership to my own.. but I have been a member for over 10 years. We will battle it out if we have to!
